Transition Year students at St Anne’s Community College in Co Clare have welcomed the introduction of a new Leaving Cert subject from next September. Around 20 students at the school hope to study Drama, Film and Theatre Studies, which is also going to be introduced with Climate Action and Sustainable Development. The subjects will be introduced for 5th year students in an initial 100 post-primary schools across the country. Both promise to be highly practical subjects, with between 40% and 50%
