Earlier this week, 2500 northern leopard frog tadpoles were released into a natural habitat near Cranbrook, BC! This is our second-most successful release for this endangered species. As part of the Northern Leopard Frog recovery team, we've worked with the Wilder Institute/Calgary Zoo and Edmonton Valley Zoo to breed, raise and release these tadpoles as part of a worldwide effort under the Amphibian Ark (AArk) project. | Vancouver Aquarium
