Lie to Me: A song about knowing the truth, but wanting to play pretend to feel a bit better about the choices you are making. The chorus lyrics and melody came to me while driving to work one day, then the rest of the song was written on my drive home. This is hands down my favorite song I have ever written, and it reminds me of how far I've come from the years I felt I was begging to be seen and loved, even if it was just pretend.
