Donna Summer was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame on Tuesday, in a ceremony held in Los Angeles.
"Being respected as a songwriter was always the thing that she felt was overlooked," said Bruce Sudano, her widower.
As of Monday, the late Disco Queen Donna Summer, who passed away in 2012, is part of the hall of fame. The ceremony also honored her influence on music history.
