On its face, Texas A&M's 2026 football schedule provides the Aggies a clear path to making it back to the College Football Playoff.
BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) - The official 2026 football schedule for Texas A&M was released on Thursday night. Next season will be the first season the new structure of a nine-game conference schedule takes effect. This allows all SEC teams to play every other conference team once every two years.
As for the road slate, Texas will play at Tennessee for the first time Sept. 26 in Knoxville. The matchup is just the fourth all-time (Texas leads 2-1) between the schools that share UT as their initials and the first since the 1969 Cotton Bowl. All three of the teams' previous matchups occurred in the Cotton Bowl.
